We started off with some PSHE, looking at giving and receiving compliments and being kind and helpful. The children made their own compliment envelopes which have been stuck on their desk so they can put a compliment in there at any time.
In Forest School we have been making some natural pirate snacks which included us cutting our blackberries and apples up ourselves and making fruit winders with the mixture! How creative Year 2!
We have also been very busy getting ready for our pirate party with Year 1. This is on Monday 14th October and your child is more than welcome to bring Pirate clothes to get changed into. There have been some amazing flags and invitations made!
As you are aware, maths homework this term is focusing on number bonds and the 2.5 and 10 times tables. Here are some links that might be of use to you.
