Mummies and Mayhem!

Welcome to the Year 2 Blog for another week!

Mummies and sparkling houses have been our thing this week... We made our mummies in Forest School using flour, water, sticks and newspaper. As you will see, the coats and trousers have been sent home for a reason as, the children thoroughly immersed themselves in the activity! They had a wonderful time and it's all part of the Copthill life.

Please make sure children's dirty coats and trousers are back in school for Monday.

In maths, we have been looking at money and the different value of coins. We were able to put them in order from the largest to the smallest amounts. It isn't very often us adults use change now as we use cards so much, but when you happen to use change, it would be brilliant if you could ask your child to recognize the different coins and maybe even help you get the correct amount ready.

Enjoy those winter walks and family time over the weekend and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday.
